| For some peculiar reason I just love to travel in Japan. I have been there twice – and I have been to such places as Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Osaka and Hakone amongst others.I am usually not too fond of big cities but Tokyo has a strange appeal to me, and I feel comfortable in this hughe city with its clash between the old and the new.Exactly why I enjoy Japan so much I can’t tell. Maybe it is part due to my lifelong fascination with the japanese martial arts – maybe it’s because I love (some types of) japanese food so much, or maybe it is just because the country is so different that it sparks my inner reflections on a wide range of subjects every time I go there.
As I am now working with robots, it seems even more fitting that I dive deeper into this fascination of a country so different from what we have in the west. |
